ACORD updated their forms in 2009 ACORD 25 – Certificate of Liability Insurance and ACORD 27 – Evidence of Property Insurance. We would like to share with you information on the ACORD form change. ACORD Form Change: The cancellation section on the ACORD Certificate of Insurance changed from “we will endeavor to mail” to “notice will be delivered in accordance with the policy provisions”. As a result, in order to accommodate a request by a Certificate Holder for cancellation notice we must endorse such notification rights onto the policy.
