OneBeacon forms group to focus on small to medium commercial business – OBPG will write business through select managing general agents, managing general underwriters and program administrators, the Minnetonka, Minn.-based insurer said. Dan Beaudette, previously senior vp at Arch Insurance Group Inc., was named president of OBPG. In addition to Beaudette, three other Arch veterans have joined OBPG. Greg Deville was named senior vp and chief underwriting office, Randy Worth was named senior vp and Bryan Wakefield was named claims vp of the new business. The team will be based in Denver.

QBE North America expands employment practices liability insurance – to include small- and medium-sized businesses. In a statement Friday, the insurer announced its comparable coverage for companies with up to 250 employees. The policy includes coverage against harassment or coercion, discrimination, wrongful failure to employ or promote, and wrongful discipline or dismissal. Options also are available for claims made by customers and vendors. Prior acts and punitive damages, when allowed by law, are covered as well. Policy limits range from $25,000 to $1 million, and deductibles from $2,500 to $25,000. Pricing is determined by business size, among other factors.

AIR Offers Supply Chain Risk Service – products to help quantify, mitigate, and manage the risk associated with the impact of catastrophes on supply chain networks. AIR’s new offering is designed to help risk managers better assess and reduce their risk from catastrophic perils such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and tsunamis. This includes risk not only from physical damage but also from direct and contingent business interruption losses across the entire supply chain network.

Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division is now offering $35 million per occurrence/ $70 million policy aggregate limits of liability for its complete pollution product line. These expanded limits of liability will be offered on both a primary and an excess of loss basis.
